Agency Training Intern

SECURA’s Agency Training Intern works directly with our Agency Training department to prepare for internal and external Agency Training events.  This position is responsible for communicating and reminding attendees of upcoming events as well as keeping an inventory of our promotional merchandise.  You will work both as a team and individually to complete any coordinating that is needed for Agency Training events and take on the challenges that are presented in this role.

Creative Design Intern

SECURA’s Creative Design Intern position calls for someone who is talented and interested in Design.  This position works closely with our Creative Designer to design, proof, and prepare various agent marketing materials, advertising materials, sales materials, internal design needs, and more.

Finance Intern

This position would be perfect for someone who is interested in career paths in Finance or Accounting.  As SECURA’s Finance Intern, you will work alongside other associates on preparing various regulatory statements the forecasting process.  This is a great opportunity to utilize and expand your knowledge in financial reporting and regulatory filing processes, reconciliation processes, and forecasting processes.

Human Resources Intern

As a Human Resources Intern at SECURA, you will play a key role in our recruiting functions.  You will assist in posting open positions, reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, and extending job offers to potential new hires.  You will also coordinate company-wide fitness classes and blood drives.  Additionally, you will work with the rest of the Human Resources team on various important projects.

IT Intern – Programming

In this position, you will utilize all phases of the system development life cycle to fulfill SECURA’s business needs.  You will be given the opportunity to analyze, design, program, test, and implement the systems that you develop.  You may even be asked to train our associates on how to use these programs.  SECURA’s IT Intern – Programming position is perfect for someone who has experience with program writing and report creation.

IT Intern – Reporting

Do you have a knack for problem-solving and excel when working in a highly interactive team environment?  In the IT Intern – Reporting position, you will work to troubleshoot technological problems and create reports that utilize the full life cycle of systems development as needed.  This position works closely with other associates in our Information Technology department on various exciting, important projects.

Marketing Communications Intern

Utilize your exceptional writing skills in a variety of marketing communication projects.  Collaborate with our marketing team and other areas of the company on various communication and design projects, and work to promote the SECURA brand.  The Marketing Communications Intern is responsible for writing, proofreading, and editing articles that are in SECURA’s internal weekly newsletter. Also, gain experience in updating SECURA’s website, social media sites, and Corporate Intranet

Performance Development Intern

SECURA’s Performance Development Intern works closely with the Manager of Performance Development to promote and coordinate the training and development functions of our associates.  In this role, you will organize our quarterly New Associate Training Program, record and analyze evaluations of the Performance Development training classes, and assist in the preparation of a variety of other training programs.  This position is also responsible for communicating the majority of our training and development programs to our associates.

Social Media Claims Investigation Intern

Are you looking for a chance to use your insurance knowledge and investigation skills?  In this exciting opportunity, utilize social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and MySpace, in addition to other publically available websites, to gather information and support the investigations of our insurance claims.  SECURA’s Social Media Claims Investigation Intern is an important role because they assist our Claims Representatives in uncovering information that impacts the final results of our claims.  As an added bonus, you will learn a great deal about claims along the way!
